submit a check to your teacher made to "Coppell Debate."
The 2026-27 annual tournament participation fee is $450.
Debate I students may attend their first "local" tournament
before deciding whether to commit to the fee.
The annual tournament participation fee is for students from CHS, CHS9, or NTH@C who would like to attend tournaments. This covers tournament entries, judge fees, and part-time assistant coaching for the regular season (Aug-Feb) but does not include any travel costs or post-season tournaments (Mar-Jun).
Tournament participation is optional for Debate I and is expected for all students in any Debate II-IV class. Any tournaments not listed on our calendar are the full financial responsibility of individual families and require director permission to enter.
